This course introduces green and sustainable remediation (GSR) and describes incorporating GSR concepts into remediation and redevelopment projects. The course critically reviews available tools and resources and shows how to perform GSR through the use of case studies. By the end of the course, participants will have a working knowledge of GSR and can apply the concepts to remediation projects on a basic level. The participants will also understand the tools and resources available to research subtopics while performing GSR projects.
Intended Audience: Remediation practitioners, including consultants, contractors and regulators.
